The beach front has many famous Thai seafood restaurants, very popular with local Thais and tourists, so you can be sure of quality and value for money, and enjoy the sights and sounds of the harbor enjoying a meal under the shade of the trees along the sea front. Fishing trips by Long Tail, speedboat trips to the outer islands are abundantly available. More traditional tourist options such as elephant treks, ATV trails, Phuket Zoo are all close to hand.
There are also many bars and local restaurants offering a wide range of evening entertainments. Nai Harn, with one of the best beaches for swimming in Phuket, is just a 5 minute drive away.
