Rawai is one of the nicer parts of Phuket Island, on the south end of the island. It is not very densely populated and yet has great beaches, lots of international restaurants, and many international people living there. This house is located near Sai Yuan Rd. on an off-road with large houses and properties, at the end of a dead-end street. There is hardly any traffic at all during sleeping hours. At other times the main noises here are the birds. On the main street 500 m. away, you find many restaurants, breakfast cafes and shops on the way to Nai Harn Beach (5 minutes away).

This house has two bedrooms (firm, king-sized beds), a living room, and a TV room with a fold-out sofa: sleeping room for six people. The house is built in a "U" shape, with a fish pond in the middle that just outside the sliding glass door of three of the main rooms. Large kitchen with stove, microwave, big refrigerator/freezer, lots of storage space. Two full bathrooms, and an extra toilet next to the TV room. The TV is connected to a satellite subscription and brings in many international stations, although the Internet connection is quite fast and can pull in many streaming videos online. There is air conditioning in both bedrooms and the TV room, although it is not really needed, as the wind is nearly always blowing, and one tends to live outdoors in Thailand.

The back yard, as well as around the fish pond, has lots of color with bougainvillia flowers. There is a barbecue in the back yard for your grilling parties. A fence protects the back yard from the view of neighbors.

The property is maintained every two weeks by a gardener and a maid. If more maid time is required, we can refer you to someone.
